Hassane Baalbaki

Executive Chairman & Managing Director

Hassane has been with the Group since 1990 and currently serves as Executive Chairman of BCI Holding SA. Hassane has a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut (1990) and has attended executive education courses at INSEAD, HBS and LBS.

Karim Baalbaki

Vice Chairman & Managing Director

Karim has been with the Group since 1997. Karim currently serves as Group Managing Director and Chairman and Managing Director of BCI-Egypt SAE. Karim has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD (2003) and a BBA from the American University of Beirut (1997). Karim has attended executive education courses at Stanford University, HBS and LBS.

Marwan Kawas

Managing Director Flexible Packaging Adhesives Business Unit

Marwan has been with the Group since 2009 and currently serves as the Managing Director Flexible Packaging Adhesives Business Unit. Between 2004-2009, Marwan was the CEO of ChemOrbis MENA, a plastics consultancy firm. From 1999-2004, Marwan was the Managing Partner of Marexx the exclusive representative of Exxon Mobil in the Middle East. Between 1984-1999 Marwan held various senior management positions with Exxon Chemicals. Marwan has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Hamburg University and has attended executive education courses at IMD and INSEAD.

Mumtaz Misrabi

Managing Director, Footwear Business Unit

Mumtaz has been with the Group since 1992. He was appointed as General Manager of BCI-Egypt SAE in 2009 and Deputy Managing Director in 2013. Mumtaz also serves as a member of the board of directors of BCI Egypt SAE since 2014. He has a BS in chemistry from the Damascus university and has attended executive education courses at the American University of Beirut.

Khaled Khayat

Managing Director, BCI Arabia, KSA

Khaled has been with the Group since 1996 and currently serves as the Commercial Director Business Development & Key Accounts. Between 2008 and 2015 Khaled was the General Manager of BCI-Gulf's polyurethane system house. Khaled has a BS in chemistry from the Beirut Arab University and has attended executive education courses at the American University of Beirut.

Wassim Bawab

Managing Director, BCI UAE

Wassim has been with the Group since 2010 and currently serves as the Managing Director of the Baalbaki Group S.A in UAE. Between 2004 and 2009, Wassim was an assistant manager for assurance services at PwC Beirut office and a lecturer at the American University of Beirut. Wassim has a CPA license from the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy, USA, as well as an MBA and a BBA from American University of Beirut. He has attended Executive education courses at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance and American University of Beirut.

Ahmad Baalbaki

Managing Director, BCI Egypt

Ahmad has been with the Group since 2010 and currently serves as Director of Group Supply Chain, Business Planning & Control. Between 2006-2009 Ahmad held several senior finance positions with BS Holding. Ahmad has an MBA and BBA from the Lebanese American University.

Zaher Milki

General Manager, Jordan

Zaher has been with the Group since 2006 and since 2014 has been the General Manager of BCI's business in Jordan. Zaher was until 2012 the Deputy General Manager of the Group's flexible foam business. Prior to joining the Group, he was an entrepreneur and owned and managed a flexible foam plant. Zaher has a degree in business administration and has attended executive education courses at the American University of Beirut.

Matteo Bleynat

Commercial Manager, BCI Europe

Matteo joined the group in 2020 as the Commercial Manager in BCI Europe. Prior to joining the group, Matteo held numerous senior management positions with Imperial Chemical Industries and Huntsman polyurethanes, including technical service and sales management. Matteo graduated with a Diploma in Applied Chemistry and holds a Post Graduate Degree in plastic materials Industrial application.
